The notification gives various details regarding eligibility, dates and important information related to examinations. Candidates can start filling UPSC CMS form on 19th April 2023.

This exam will be conducted for the post of Assistant Medical Officer in India and will be appointed for Factory Health Services, Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in Railways, Junior Scale posts in Central Health Services etc. as per the available vacancies. The exam will be conducted in two phases and after that the final result will be declared.

UPSC CMS Notification Eligibility 2023

    • There is no limit on the number of attempts considering the age limit of the candidate as per UPSC CMS notification
    • The essential educational qualification is an MBBS degree which has to be done from a recognized university or institute.
    • A candidate who has appeared in the final examination of MBBS can also apply for the exam.
    • Candidates have to be physically and mentally fit for the exam.

How to Apply Online for UPSC CMS 2023?

Candidates have to fill all the required details as mentioned in the Aadhaar Card. In case the candidate does not have an Aadhaar Card, they will have to fill the details on the basis of ID Proof, such as Driving License, Passport, Voter ID Card or PAN Card, etc. The steps to apply for the application form are mentioned below –

Phase 1- Go to the official website of UPSC

Phase 2- On its homepage, click on Notification to apply for UPSC CMS exam

step 3- After clicking on it, you will have to register yourself on its official portal and login, and your ID and password will be received on your registered mobile number or email ID, as the case may be.

step 4- After making the above process, candidates have to fill the application form.

Step 5- UPSC CMS Application Form will be filled twice as there are two phases of the exam.

Step 6- On the application form, they have to fill necessary details related to educational qualification, ID proof etc.

Step 7- Once the application is submitted, it will not be modified. So, candidates are advised to check once before submitting the application form.

Step 8- After submitting the application form and making the payment, the candidate will be given a registration number.

Step 9- Candidates are advised to take a printout of the application form and keep it safe for future reference.

Do not forget to take a print out of the application form after following the process.

As per UPSC CMS notification the exam pattern is as follows:

  • The language of the paper will be English
  • The duration of the exam will be of 2 hours
  • The exam question paper will be multiple choice questions.
  • Both the papers will be of 250 marks
  • There will be 1/3rd negative marking for each wrong answer.
