Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) is conducted once a year. The objective is to take the exam as the right candidate has to be given the post of Government Teacher in Punjab State.

Before giving you details on PSTET Notification, let us give you some information about PSTET Exam. PSTET will conduct the exam in two phases. The first phase exam will be held in the morning shift and the second phase exam will be held in the evening shift. PSTET exam is going to be conducted in offline mode.
PSTET Notification Eligibility Criteria 2022
Eligibility Criteria for Paper 1 They are as follows-
- Candidate must have obtained minimum 50% marks in Secondary Education, or candidates can also apply who are in final year of Diploma. (any)
- Candidate must have secured minimum 45% marks in Secondary Education or Final year of education i.e. 2nd year as per the norms of NCTE Regulation, 2002.
- Candidate must have obtained minimum 50% marks in secondary education or appeared in final year of bachelor’s degree. (in leadership)
- Candidate must have obtained minimum 50% marks in the final year of Secondary Education or Diploma Education (Special)
- Must have completed Graduation or appearing in 2nd year of Diploma. ( any )
Note- Eligibility Criteria for Paper 1 is for Primary Teacher Post
Eligibility Criteria for Paper 2 They are as follows-
- Must have completed Graduation or appearing in 2nd year of Diploma. ( any )
- Graduation with at least 45% as per NCTE norms or appearing in first year B.Ed.
- Candidate must have obtained minimum 50% marks in secondary education or appeared in final year of bachelor’s degree. (in leadership)
- Candidate must have obtained minimum 50% marks in Secondary Education or passed or appearing in final year of Bachelor’s degree. (BA/B.Sc.Ed or BA Ed/B.SCed)
- Must have completed graduation with 50% marks or appearing in first year of B.Ed. (special).

PSTET Correction Application Process 2022
PSTET Board of Education gives one time facility to make correction in application form.
The steps for correction in the application form are as follows-
- Visit its official website
- Click on Register User tab
- Enter Registration Number and Password
- then modify
- Then click on the submit button for the confirmation page
Candidates can make these changes only in the application form-

PSTET Application Form 2022 Important Points

- Only the residents of India can apply for the application form.
- Candidates have the option to appear for one paper or two papers.
- PSTET provides only one time correction in the application form.
- After the examination is over, the candidate must keep the application number.
- Application fees are non-refundable.
