ps ii story
In the last part of PS-I, we saw that Prince Burman gets trapped in the deep water, and everyone else in the kingdom thinks that he is dead. His brother exerted all his might and came to know that Nandini does all this work. Arulmozhi is definitely not dead as the name of the story is Ponniyin Selvan. Later he became the most famous leader.
In the next scene Adita Karikalan meets Nandini. The soldiers want to defeat Adita Karikalan but Nandini makes a pact with them to attack Adita. Fortunately, Adita dies in the attack and Nandini thinks victory is now! But the blame goes to Vandhiyadevan because of throne politics. Again, the empire believes that if Aditi had not died, he would have been the most famous leader of the future Cholas to come. PS2 release date has been shared and now we will focus on the new part of PS.
Let’s take the story to PS-II. In this part, King Sundara Chola had two sons and both died as discussed in PS I. But the people of Chola did not know that Arulmozhi was alive and they give the throne in the hands of Madurantaka Uttama Chola.
Although Nandini’s plan succeeds in killing Aditha Karikalan, people think that Vandhiyadevan killed the king. Pazhuvettaraiyar then realizes his mistake in marrying Nandini. So he claims all the blame on himself to save Vandhiadevan, and he has to die. Now suddenly, Arulmozhi enters the kingdom and then, in his capital, he seeks and claims that the kingdom must be handed over to him for safety.
The twist in the story is that Arulmozhi supporters and Madurantaka Uttama Chola supporters get divided. There is also a possibility that there would be a civil war between the Cholas as well. Because of this, Arulmozhi Burman had to give up his powers and hand it over to Madurantaka Uttama Chola. Another promise is shared between the kings that Arulmozhi will rule the kingdom when Uttam dies!
Due to this, the chances of a civil war become null and void, and Arulmozhi and Madurantaka Uttama Chola get into a good friendship. Now there is peace in the kingdom of Cholas. But there are also epithets in Part 1 in which the Kundawai and Vabadiyadevan epithets are shown. In the future, both of them will be married to Poornima, the future Madurantaka Uttama Chola.
