Prithvi Shaw having a decent IPL 2022
Meanwhile, Prithvi Shaw is having a decent IPL season while opening the innings for the Capitals. He has so far mustered 259 runs in nine innings at an average of 28.77 and a strike-rate of 159.87. Shaw has managed to provide Delhi quick-fire starts on multiple occasions this season but consistency has continued to be the issue for the youngster. He and David Warner have been decent though at the top of the order for the Delhi side that is struggling this season.
Delhi Capitals too have struggled for consistency in IPL 2022. They have played nine matches so far and have won only four matches while losing the other five. The team is currently sitting at the sixth position in the points table and will have to pull up their socks if they are to make it to the playoffs. For that to happen though DC will have to string consecutive wins which they haven’t done yet this season.
