Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) successfully conducted the HCS Exam on 29-30 October 2022. The exam is conducted every year to appoint skilled candidates for the state civil services.
Candidates prepare for the exam using NCERT textbooks, standard reference books, current affairs, reading newspapers, solving mock test papers and model papers from previous years. This increased his chances of getting selected for the HCS post.

Around 13 districts were covered in around 538 exam centres. HPSC is recruiting candidates for various Group A & B posts. Candidates who are successful in the exam will get the opportunity to work on the posts of Excise and Taxation Officer, DSP, Assistant Registrar, BDPO, District Food and Supplies Controller and other posts.
There are a total of 156 posts for HCS for which the preliminary exam is already over. This result is for the candidates who appeared in the mains exam. Candidates must know that roll number will be the essential detail to check the result.

HPSC HCS Merit List Download Link
Candidates who want to check their name in the merit list have to put extra efforts. Most of them had joined a coaching institute and were fully engaged in self-study. He had prepared the paper so well that he avoided giving wrong answers to the questions. He has worked cleverly to pass the exam anyhow.
We want to inform the candidates that they can get the merit list immediately after the declaration of result on the main portal. A merit list is usually released after 30 to 40 days from the declaration of result.

- Mains: The exam was conducted on 29/10/2022-30/10/2022 and now candidates are waiting for their result.
- interview: Candidates who clear both the exams will get a chance to face the interview round with the HPSC officials.
Candidates should note that those who are able to clear the interview will proceed further in the document verification process. They have to take their original documents to verify the details. Later, the official joining letter will be sent to the selected candidates email address.
How to check HPSC Mains Result 2022?
The expected date for result is December 2022-January 2023. However, it is tentative as there is no official notification of result. But after the officially started candidates can check the result by using the steps given below.
Phase 1 Candidates can either visit the nearby cyber cafe or check the result on their computer. Now, they have to search the official website in the search bar.
Phase 2 Now, they need to authenticate themselves to the website by logging in to it. For this, their user ID and a password will be required.
step 3 From the main menu, they will get an option for “Result”
step 4 A list of multiple results in the portal will open on the screen

step 6 They have to enter the details like roll number, date of birth etc. as required
