ca intermediate result 2022-23
The CA Intermediate exam is conducted in the starting month of 22nd November. Since the completion of the examination, the results are expected after 50-60 days, which means the results will be declared on 10-15 January 2023 (Expected Date). ,
This is expected because with the new scheme ICAI has started declaring the results within 50 days. For example, in the last attempt on May 22, ICAI declared the results for CA Intermediate students in about 58-62 days.
CA Intermediate Pass Percentage 2022-2023
CA Intermediate pass percentage is explained below-

CA Intermediate single group candidates
Candidates appearing for any Group, Group-I or Group II must obtain a minimum of 40 marks in each subject, and the aggregate of a group must be 200 marks. This is how the CA Intermediate Result is made by the concerned authorities.

In such a situation, the candidate did not pass in the attempt of May 22, but the candidate obtained good marks in the paper and got exemption.

CA Intermediate candidates from both groups
Candidates appearing for both the groups will have to score a minimum of 400 marks in aggregate and 40 marks in each of the eight subjects to appear in the CA Intermediate result.
Strategy to crack CA Intermediate paper
The strategy to clear CA Intermediate is mentioned below –
- If a student appears for a group, they have to aim to get exemption in two papers and they have to aim to score minimum 50% marks in the remaining two papers.
Note:- It will depend on the person on which paper he has to set the target. Now, if the practical part of a student is stronger, then that particular student has to aim to get exemption in those practical papers. - If a student wants to appear for both the groups in CA Intermediate exam, then a simple strategy would be to aim for 60% in any of the four papers and in the remaining four papers they need to aim for 50% marks. Now it will ultimately depend on the candidate which paper he/she wants to target.
CA Intermediate exemption criteria
- candidates need obtain minimum 60 marks in each subject To get discount on paper.
- If a candidate appears for a group in a particular attempt, he/she should appear in all the four papers of the particular groups. (Group I or Group II)
As, If a candidate has enrolled for Group I in Nov-22 attempt, if the candidate wants exemption, then the candidate has to appear for all the four subjects of that particular group. - If a candidate has given both the groups and thinks that he/she will get exemption in papers, then he/she has to appear in all the papers in the examination.
- there is no upper limit For the number of papers to get the exemption.
- Exemption can be carried forward for three tries in a rowwhether the candidate has made that particular effort or not.
For example, if a candidate has got exemption in Paper 1- Accounts in 22nd May attempt, then this exemption will be carried forward till 23rd November attempt. Now if the candidate has not passed the exam till 23rd November then the candidate will also have to appear for the audit paper on 24th May.
ca intermediate rank list 2022-2023
To get the rank in CA Intermediate Exam; A candidate must have obtained at least 75% marks in aggregate. The lowest rank will depend on the score of the candidates. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India announces only the top fifty ranks in each attempt. But there can be 4 or 5 candidates in any rank.

Phase 1- Firstly, the candidate must check the result.
Phase 2- After checking the result the candidate has to go back to the screen and click on the notification to check the merit list
step 3- Candidate has to enter the details
step 4- After that click on the submit button.
Step 5- Your rank will appear on the screen.
