Virat was in no mood to relax despite getting back to form.
Virat Kohli seems to be in the perfect frame of mind ahead of the Royal Challengers Bangalore’s all-important IPL 2022 encounter against the defending champions Chennai Super Kings at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune on May 4. After a string of disappointing performances in the ongoing season including back-to-back ducks, the former skipper roared back to form in the last match with an impressive knock of 58 runs from 53 deliveries.
Meanwhile, Virat was in no mood to relax despite getting back to form as he was seen sweating it out in the gym along with his better half Anushka Sharma. In the video posted by Kohli on his official Twitter handle, both husband and wife were doing upper body exercises, and while Anushka was operating with dumbbells, the Delhi batter used all his strength to perform his favourite exercise power snatch.

Virat Kohli looking to get back among runs
Coming back to the on-field action, the batting megastar scored his first half-century of IPL 2022. Apart from this 50, he already has a couple of 40+ scores. The batting icon has so far amassed 186 runs from 10 matches including one unbeaten knock at an average of 20.67 and a strike rate of 116.25. Virat Kohli would yet again be expected to showcase a similar or an even better performance against the current title-holders CSK in the next match.
At the same time, the Royal Challengers Bangalore would also be hoping to avenge their reverse fixture loss to Chennai where they had gone down by 23 runs while chasing a mammoth target.
More importantly, the Bengaluru-based franchise would be desperate to snap their winless streak by registering a much-needed win in the upcoming southern derby, having lost their last three matches to the Sunrisers Hyderabad, Rajasthan Royals, and the table-toppers Gujarat Titans respectively. The Chennai Super Kings would be heading into this clash on the back of an impressive 13-run win over SRH.
